Please read the following rules (‘Terms’) that govern your use of our website. These rules constitute a binding legal agreement between you and the Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC), the operator of this website.

By using this website, you (the ‘user’) are taken to have understood and accepted the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy below, and have agreed to be bound by it.
1. RESTRICTIONS OF USE
1.1
For the purpose of this Agreement, ‘Website Material’ refers to any content that has been uploaded to, provided as part of, or otherwise visible in the website. These include, but are not limited to, videos, photographs, audio recordings, literary works, comments and testimonials, news articles, details of Worship Services, program scheduling, program names, press releases, contact information, logos, designs, word marks, service marks, and other materials that are visible on the website.

In the absence of written and express permission from INC, you are prohibited form:
1.2.1
Reproducing and publishing any Website materials in other media, including, but not limited to, online, satellite, digital, analogue, cable, terrestrial, and in other media now known or developed in the future;
1.2.2
Selling, sublicensing and/or otherwise commercializing any Website material;
1.2.3
Publicly performing and/or showing any Website material;
1.2.4
Using this Website in any way that impacts others users’ access to this Website;
1.2.5
Using this Website contrary to applicable laws and regulations, or in a way that causes, or may cause, harm to the Website, or to any person or business entity;

Engaging in any data mining, data harvesting, data extracting or other similar activity in relation to this Website, or while using this Website;

Using this Website to engage in any advertising or marketing;

Certain areas of this Website are restricted from user access. Furthermore, INC may, without notice to you, further restrict access by you to any areas of this Website.
2. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY AND INDEMNIFICATION

In no event shall INC or any of its affiliates, officers, directors and employees, be liable to you for anything arising out of or in connection with your use of this Website. This indemnity extends, without limitation, to liability under contract, tort, privacy, Intellectual Property Infringement, media law, data privacy law, and other personal and property rights.

CEBSI, including its affiliates, licensees, officers, directors and employees shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential or special liability arising out of or in any way related to your use of this Website.
2.3
The user shall fully indemnify CEBSI from and against any and all liabilities, costs, demands, causes of action, damages and expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising out of or in any way related to the breach of any of the provisions of these Terms.
3. COPYRIGHT OWNERSHIP
3.1
CEBSI owns all intellectual property rights to all Website materials, except as to such content, artistic works, trademarks, or service marks created, used and/or registered in the name of the INC prior to its incorporation into the Website by uploading or other means.
3.2
The user is granted a limited license to view the materials in the Website. This license is subject to the restrictions provided in these Terms, and to all prevailing laws and regulations.
4. WARRANTIES
4.1
This Website is provided on an “as is” basis. CEBSI makes no express or implied representations or warranties of any kind related to this Website or the materials contained in it.
4.2
Additionally, nothing contained on this Website shall be construed as providing consult or advice to you.
4.3
Children’s use of the website. If you, the user, are under 18 years of age, you warrant and assure CEBSI that you are visiting the website under the supervision of your parent or legal guardian.
4.3.1
Additionally, both the user and their parent or guardian accept that it would be beneficial for and in the best interest of the minor to view the materials in this website. Despite any obligations attached thereto, including the disclosure of personal information, the minor’s participation in the aforementioned activities, taken as a whole, is manifestly to his advantage.
5. GOVERNING LAW
5.1
Any dispute or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms and Privacy Policy shall be governed by the laws of the Philippines, and shall be brought before the proper courts of Quezon City, Philippines, to the exclusion of other courts.
6. MODIFICATION
6.1
CEBSI may, in its sole discretion, change or modify these Terms and Privacy Policy, with or without notice. These changes shall be made effective upon all users when the modified Agreement is posted on the website.
6.2
It is your responsibility as the user to read this document from time to time to ensure that your use of the Service remains compliant with this Agreement.
PRIVACY POLICY
Christian Era Broadcasting Service International (‘CEBSI’), which has its office at 1 Central Ave., Quezon City, Philippines 1107, is the data controller and processor for all information collected as part of your use of this website (the ‘Service’). This page informs you (the ‘user’) of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service. We use your data to provide and improve the Service. By using the website, you voluntarily consent to and agree with the collection and use of your information in accordance with this policy.
1. INFORMATION COLLECTION AND USE OF DATA

We collect several different types of information for various purposes to prove and improve our Service to you.

When you provide us with this information, for example, when signing up in our mailing list; or
1.2.8.2
Through a variety of built-in technologies, such as tracking and cookies data, application program interfaces, or use of a third-party application in our website.
1.3
We will only hold your personal information while it is necessary for the provision of our services to you, or that we have a valid reason to keep it for a maximum of three years. Valid reasons may include that we must keep it to avoid breaking the law.
2. DATA BEING SHARED WITH THIRD PARTIES

We may share your data with other organizations that provide services on our behalf to operate the website and our data processing systems.It is your responsibility to review the content, privacy policies, and/or practices of any third-party sites or services.

Examples of when we may share your data with service providers includes:

Internet and cloud hosting services providers, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Cloudflare, Bunny CDN, and other content-delivery networks, to help accommodate the traffic on the website without compromising the bandwidth;

JavaScript libraries and other programs to develop the structure, functionality, and appearance of the website, including but not limited to the following:

Bootstrap 4 an HTML, CSS, and JavaScript framework for developing responsive, mobile-first websites;

jQuery to make it much easier to use JavaScript on a website;
2.1.2.4
Popper.js to calculate the position of an element to make it possible to position it near a given reference element.
2.1.2.5
Swiper is JavaScript library that creates modern touch sliders with hardware-accelerated transitions (utilizing GPU to offload graphic-intensive transitions and create smoother visuals) and excellent native behavior.
2.1.2.6
HTML5 (Hypertext Markup Language 5) is a markup language used for structuring and presenting hypertext documents on the World Wide Web.
2.1.3
Third-party webpage components and assets, such as Google Fonts, in order to style and design the website. To this end, we also use Font Awesome, which is a robust icon set that contains scalable vector icons;
2.1.4
YouTube, given that we use their unbranded embedded player to provide video content on our websites and apps. The embedded player relies on the YouTube API, which is a type of software that allows data to be communicated between our website and apps and the YouTube player;
2.1.5
Social Media Platforms, such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, to make it easier to view and share the contents of the website; and
2.1.6
Third-party analytic services, such as Google Analytics, which send your session statistics, IP address, geolocation, and browser and device information, to optimize your experience of the website.
3. TRACKING AND COOKIES DATA
3.1
Definition of ‘Cookies.’ Cookies are small text files which a website may place on your computer or device when you visit a site. The cookie will help the website to recognize your device the next time you visit. Web beacons, pixels or other similar files can also do the same thing. For example, where we are aware of copyright infringement on our Site, it is our legitimate interests to identify those responsible. 7. DATA CONTROLLER AND PROCESSOR

All personal data collected as part of your use of our website are controlled and processed by CEBSI in its offices in the Philippines, located at 1 Central Ave., Quezon City, Philippines 1107.

Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by your submission of such information represents your agreement to that transfer, acknowledging the presence of risks given the absence of any Standard Contractual Clauses, adequacy decisions, and similar privacy provisions.

CEBSI will take all steps it considers reasonable to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Our Website may contain links to other sites that are not operated by us. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that third party’s site. We strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of every site you visit.

CEBSI has no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies or practices of any third-party sites or services.
10. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

When visiting the website and filling out forms, you warrant and assure CEBSI that you are over the age of consent. If you are under the age of consent, you warrant and assure CEBSI that any personal information you provide has been provided under the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian.
